The image in my poster was based on an event in the news about a month ago. Flooding after a severe storm had occurred in rural areas of the Netherlands.
Sea levels had rose and crept inland surrounding a herd of 100 horses on
a tiny knoll in Marrum, about 90 miles from Amsterdam. The herd was stranded
for 3 days, until the sea receded enough to allow rescue workers to bring
two women on horses out to the knoll to lead the herd off and out to dry
land. Nineteen animals had died of exposure and stress. I found the photos
of the stranded horses and them being led off of the knoll in a single file
visually arresting, and thus wanted to use them for a poster.”

This print is part of a Benefit Print Series for the Northwest CCFA which follows Pearl Jam’s 2006 Australia/New Zealand/Hawaii Tour. While these prints have been generated in association (and reported approval) of the band, they are not the show prints to be sold as merchandise at the concerts themselves. These are sold through http://wishlistfoundation.org and have been commissioned/organized by them. Given EB’s definition of the term “official” at this point (a print given the approval of the band or not legally challenged as far as we know), these print are deemed official by EB as such although not sold at the shows themselves.
