This is the fifth in Jim Pollock’s politically-oriented pieces printed on hemp-content paper. This one is a benefit piece for Food Not Bombs- Chicago and is the first of his hemp series to have been printed on the Rohner “Heidelberg” press instead of Jim’s small bookbinding press. Released on September 6th, 2002; the posters have sold out as of October 1, 2003.
These posters were printed by Rohner Letterpress, off of hand-carved linoleum blocks by Jim Pollock, and then each was signed and numbered. Variations in the posters are intrinsic to the process. Printed on a hemp content paper, with red, orange and green inks.
